Levels of Care
Lower Level of Assisted Living
Our lower level of assisted living is for those residents who are very independent and need minimal assistance with their daily activities. These residents typically maneuver well on their own-whether by walking freely, with a walker, or a wheelchair. We want these residents to have their freedom while also ensuring them that if they need any assistance our caregivers are eager to help!
We do offer assistance with bathing, giving out medications, taking vitals, making appointments, and in any other way the resident needs.
Moderate Level of Assisted Living
If a resident requires a little more assistance to ensure their daily activities are achieved our caregivers are here to help! These residents usually need help with mobility or may have a medical condition that our staff will need to monitor closely to ensure your loved one is getting the proper care or medication that may be needed.
Our moderate level of assisted living care is also for those residents that may have slight memory troubles or even in the early stages of Alzheimer's and need more of our caregiver's love to ensure they are comfortable.
Higher Level of Assisted Living
Guiding Hands also offers assisted living for residents who depend considerably upon our caregivers. These residents need more assistance to achieve their daily activities and may have either moderate or severe memory loss, dementia, or Alzheimer's disease. While our facility is not a lockdown unit, we do take the necessary precautions to prevent residents from leaving the facility endless they are authorized to do so.
We aim to provide a comfy and cozy environment that is full of fun activities to do so that our residence can occupy their minds while feeling at home.
